The ENYE Group announces new corporate officers

Dustin Goldstein is named President & CEO of The ENYE Group following the departure of Manuel Pulido as Managing Partner
CHICAGO, Illinois - January 1, 2011 - The ENYE Group announced today a restructuring of it's leadership team following the sale of Manuel Pulido's stake in the company to Dustin Goldstein and his resignation as Managing Partner.
The company today named Mr. Goldstein the President & Chief Executive Officer of the new entity with immediate effect. Mr. Goldstein will also retain a majority stake in the new company.
Mr. Goldstein said "ENYE has always been known in the market for the strength and quality of its portfolio. This will not change. We will continue to find the best quality wines and spirits, with the best packaging at a reasonable price that drives a message of value home with consumers."
Noting the recent decision to expand the portfolio's reach beyond Spain, Mr. Goldstein said "The Latin wine segment, as represented by Spain, Portugal, Argentina and Chile, has experienced double digit growth through 2009 and 2010, in the context of a very difficult economic environment in the United States. The growth and acceptance of such wines as Malbec, Vinho Verde and Carmenere, especially in the on-premise space, has been particularly spectacular. We want to raise the bar in this segment on quality, while reaffirming our commitment to Spain, which will continue to be the backbone of our portfolio."
The company also announced the promotion of Thomas Minnerick to the position of Vice President & Sales Manager. Before joining ENYE in early 2010 to manage the Distributor Segment, he was the EVP and General Manager of Distinctive Wines & Spirits and Midwest Regional Manager for Michael-David Winery. Tom has over 35 years of wine industry experience in total, and will be responsible for the Sales function for the new entity.
As a result of the purchase-sale agreement between the company and Mr. Pulido, we are announcing that we are ending our distribution agreements with the following entities: VINTAE, Vallformosa and Vinos & Bodegas Gallegas with immediate effect. New product lines which will replace the 16 products these wineries represent will be announced in the coming days.
The company's website will also be re-launched during the first week of January, providing easier navigation and up to date point-of-sale material for customers and distributors.
